World Health Organization (WHO)
WHO is a worldwide non-profit organization involved in promoting health to keep the world safe and to serve the vulnerable (Wright et al., 2020). WHO is the United Nations specialized agency involved in universal health care by monitoring the risks, emergencies with headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland (Wright et al., 2020).
Objectives:
1. One billion people with universal health coverage which is being tracked by the 15 indicators (Wright et al., 2020).
2. To protect one more billion people from out
eaks and health emergencies which are being tracked by 6 indicators and the other objective is to provide better health (Wright et al., 2020).
3. Well-being to one more billion people which are being tracked by 14 SDG indicators(Wright et al., 2020) .
WHO is a global level decision-making forum constitutes nearly 8000+ professionals globally from 194 nations, which constitutes health care experts, researchers, scientists and managers in coordinating with each other in response to the health emergencies, promote the healthy well-being, disease prevention and expansion of the health care services across the world with the provided scientific evidence to provide an equal opportunity for the safe and healthy life of public globally (Foundation, 2017).
Funding Sources:
The funding sources for the WHO are through member states and other partners via assessed contributions and the other is Voluntary contributions (VC) (Foundation, 2017) . WHO emergency funding is a quick response funding used to control the costs during emergency out
eaks which have impacts both socially and economically. It works in coordination with the NGO, local governments and partners (Katz, Attal-Juncqua, & Fischer, 2017).
Some of the policies of the WHO are
1. To establish effective coordination and collaboration between the government organization, non- governmental organisations and other local institutions (Bloom & Cadarette, 2019).
2. To provide and promote assistance, establish and maintain the health care services to attain the maximum health benefits to the public for the better survival (Bloom & Cadarette, 2019).
3. Cooperation among various professional groups in the improvement of nutrition, sanitation and other for the healthier maintenance of the environment (Bloom & Cadarette, 2019).

1. Some of the environmental impacts are that most of the people are living in unhealthy environments accounting for almost 100 diseases, where the number of deaths is one among 4 affected individuals. The environmental risk factors are pollution (water, air, soil, chemicals hazards) (Flies et al., 2019).
