Reflective Practice Purpose The aim of this assignment is to enhance the student’s knowledge, skills and attributes in reflection; to demonstrate the mechanisms to explore actions and to derive meaning from the experience. Reflection as a tool for learning as a clinical supervisor is essential, and this assignment will assist students gain confidence in this area of practice. Students will consider a clinical supervision relationship, as either the supervisor or supervisee (preferred supervisor). Students are required to reflect on the experience by following Gibbs XXXXXXXXXXReflective Practice Model. Analyse the experience, in particular consider the following key components of successful clinical supervision practices: · Orientation process and sense of belonging · Development of objectives/goals for the learning experience · Educational Practice · Delivery of feedback This activity will assist students to recognise their own strengths and weaknesses and become more self-aware. Whilst referencing is not essential for a reflective paper, students are required to seek confirmation of learning and actions with the literature.
