Feminism, Decolonization and Imperialism
Before reading the course materials I thought of all these three terms in quite a different way. Feminism and decolonization were ideas of championship to me. I believed feminism revolved around freeing women from oppression in all its forms. Decolonization represented to me the idea of releasing subjugated populations from colonial rule. The idea of imperialism in my mind was strictly restricted to attacking and occupying another country’s territory forcefully. After reading the course materials,
