1. Introduction
Every individual works with some purpose in life. The purpose is defined by the activities and the steps that individual has decides. The calculative activity is called as a goal, which is one of the most important activities in a person’s life. Without a goal the person will not have a definite path, in which they will move ahead to accomplish their targets or work activities. A proper goal helps in triggering a new momentum of life because the individual gets a purpose and the roadmap to move ahead with their activities, hence setting a proper goal is very crucial. In this paper, a reflective essay is been written on the personal goal setting, for my professional development, in which the short term goals based on the academic, professional and personal goals will be written. The goals will be written based on the goal setting technique. Further, the discussion will be made based on values and ethics that are involved in the goal settings. The goals setting will also include the individual skills and that will also be discussed. Lastly, the learning outcome will be discussed, based on which the entire goal setting purpose is discussed.
