The different stages of Erik Erikson are easy to comprehend and easily extended to all age groups. The number of adolescents we see during clinical trials is a prime example. The first example of the RN standard two will be to ensure that Nurses value respect and kindness for self and others. It is applicable when a teenage girl who is going through changes in her body due to pregnancy is guided by the professional nurse about the pros and cons of early age pregnancy. She is supposed to handle the matter kindly and with full respect given to the emotions of the young girl here. In the second example, RN standard number three will be applied over the example that Nurses value the diversity of people (Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia, 2020).
