General information: Your task is to make a 5-minute video presentation (with audio, written text and pictures/diagrams) answering the question “Can I live without cerebellum?”
In your presentation, you MUST address the following:
1. Describe the normal anatomy and physiology of cerebellum.
2. Can I live without the cerebellum? Explain why/why not.
3. Explain, using at least one example, why knowledge of the cerebellum is relevant to your future profession. (Public health practitioner)
4. Include an annotated bibliography.
Your recorded oral presentation must have five key components
1. Title slide. Include your name, student number and course of study.
2. A description of the normal anatomy and physiology of your assigned organ/structure.
3. An answer to the question “Can I live without the cerebellum?” and an explanation of why/why not.
4. An explanation, using at least one example, of why knowledge of this organ/structure is relevant to your future profession. (public health practitioner)
5. Final slide(s): An annotated bibliography containing a minimum of 5 source citations (not including images).
Researching your topic and creating an annotated bibliography
· The information you include must be drawn from reputable sources. These may include peer-reviewed articles in the scientific and clinical research literature, textbooks and reputable websites (e.g. Government websites or WHO).
· Ensure you keep a record of any references that you have used.
· You must use appropriate in-text referencing for any direct quotes, statistical information, illustrations that are not your own, new information from cu
ent journal articles or information you sourced from a textbook.
· When referencing illustrations, it is appropriate to include the weblink on the slide and full details in the annotated bibliography.
· APA style (7th edition) formatting must be used for all in-text and bibliographic citations.
