ARTICLE REVIEW
DEL 815 – QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
Review of Literature
The section of literature in the research by Solstad and Pettersen (2010) describes mergers as the major organizational transitions.
Some major characteristics of public hospitals and their organizational changes in the public hospitals are the introduction of the ideas of evolution and pathways towards a change.
(Source: Solstad, & Petterson, 2019)
Institutional theory is used to set up the merger in a large institution or context (Greener, 2005)). Some concluding remarks are also provided on the dependencies of the path which affected the final result of the merger. A detailed description of the entire process of change allows to highlight how research methods in a qualitative way can show complexity of the entire process of organisational change.
Research Questions
The research aims at the possible consequences where there is minimal interaction between the changes in systems.
The research will also throw light upon the practices ca
ied out by professionals in the hospitals when the entire processes are impacted by dependencies on the path which influence the outcome of a merger.

Analysis of empirical data is a part of this review. The main focus is the milestone of the entire process of change. Analysis of data and highlighting the qualitative research methods can reveal complications in the process of changes.
Methodology
Organisational change theory plays a major role in studying how organisations transform over time (Jian, 2007).
Planned changes are more important to study changes related to enhancement of the performance of an organisation.
(Source: Revcycleintelligence, 2020)
Theories of organisational changes focus on internal organisation process which means that changes that
ing about internal amendments in an organisation like structures of management, designs of system and rules of decision. The less tangible aspects of an organisation have to be dealt with if an overall organisational transformation has to take place. The splitting of less tangible elements in an organisation into subcultures easily obstructs the process of organisational change (Me
iam & Tisdell, 2015).
Structure
During the entire process a group of people working in a committee were observed.
All the meetings were ca
ied out and communication with the members of the group were done.
