The boss or manager I had in the past was an effective leader as he engaged the employees by allowing them to be a part of the decision-making processes of the business. His personality was vibrant and he acted as a motivator for the employees. His was skilful enough to make things happen on time and helped to shape the future of the employees while encouraging them to meet the goals and objectives of the business. 
The leadership qualities of the person from the perspective of personality was openness and emotional stability (Goldsmith, Baldoni & McArthur, 2010).
