HIV is also known as human immunodeficiency virus and it is the type of virus that attacks the immune system of an individual. Furthermore, if the HIV remains untreated that it can also cause AIDS. Furthermore, it can be said that the prevalence of the HIV is quite high among the population such as more than 20%. This is even higher in men who have sex with men, sex workers, and transgender as well as individuals who inject drugs. However, in the recent times country has made huge amount of enhancements in terms of getting the individuals in terms of testing the HIV (Elf at al., 2018). The first 90% of the individuals who are living with the HIV are now aware of their status in the year 2018. Furthermore, women in the South Africa are not proportionately affected.
