The presentation will take place under exam conditions and will be in front of two lecturers. · You will be assessed on both content and presentation skills using the attached level 6 rubric · The presentation needs to be supported by contemporary literature · Students will be required to answer questions on their presentation topic. These will be asked by the assessors · Students can use prompt cards during their presentation Topics Students need to choose a topic which reflects the learning outcomes and contents of the module. Particular attention is drawn to the following learning outcomes: - - Critically review key roles and XXXXXXXXXXorganisational values within health and social care
Examples of possible topics are below but students are at liberty to choose their own: - 1. What did you learn from your university experience and why? 2. Why is diversity important in the public sector workplace and how would you manage discrimination? 3. What has been your greatest achievement and why? 4. What skills do you have that will make you a good manager? 5. How do you manage organisational change and would lead others in doing so? 6. The role of women in leadership? 7. How has social media impacted on the public’s perception of safeguarding services and how would you change it. 8. How would you improve wellbeing in the workplace? Students are encouraged to have a reflective element to their presentation and to present creative solutions to issues. |
