Overview
Each individual has a specific set of characteristics that help in defining his strengths and personality. Through the Gallup’s assessment I was able to understand the areas wherein lies my greatest strengths. The process of undertaking the Gallup’s Strength Finder assessment was based on mixed feelings, as at one end I wanted to understand what my talents are and also on the other hand I was apprehensive about the possible contradictions in my belief and assessment results. Harms (2017) has discussed in his work that the inclusion of Gallup’s Strength Finder is helpful in acknowledging the precepts of positive psychology leading to motivational dimension. The results of the assessment revealed that adaptability, responsibility, empathy, belief, and deliberativeness are my signature themes. The identified strengths are traits of my personality that I have been familiar with except for the strength defined as deliberative.
