2) Describe the importance of denormalization as part of data warehouse design (150 words).
The non-standardized data warehouse strategy is use to increase functionality of the database infrastructure. Denormalization calls redundant information to normalized data warehouse to decrease the running time of a particular database query that combines data from multiple tables into one table. Remember, never mistake denormalized database for a database that has never been normalized. The data warehouse is the operating environment in life (Eshuis & Kumar, 2016). The data extracted from the source enters the warehouse inventory at the point of extraction. The system must follow the warehouse rules when deleting files to extract the warehouse. The data is transformed according to the algorithms required by the warehouse. It is loaded from these sources and stored according to DW rules.
