• A list of references named in the synthesis matrix. These should be in APA referencing style.

The purpose of this task is to assist students to prepare a research proposal.

You have already done quite a bit of work for this research in tutorials: you should have a tentative research
issue, strategies and evidence to persuade your readers about the significance of the problem you’re
esearching, as well as the validity of your research issues. You also should consider opposing views or good
counter-arguments that you can address in order to help establish your credibility and enhance the relevance of
your paper.

A. Interim Research Proposal (20%)
The mini research report must contain the following sections, submitted in the order as listed
elow-
• Title – proposal title (10 words maximum)
• Proposal - summarization of the significant concepts in the proposed study focusing on

Impact of 5G on Human Resources Management
1. Introduction
1.1. Background
There have been significant changes in technology from the time of the beginning of internet. It is now possible to get excellent speeds on the internet through the cu
ent technology of 4G. 5G has been known to potentially impact on aspects of the organizational process. According to Aijaz, Simsek, Dohler & Fettweis, (2017), one of the major advantages of 5G would be that it will be a tactile network, which makes it extremely flexible to work with. It would work beyond the limitations of geography and time zones, making it easier to conduct cloud computing, as well as increase the responsiveness of the network stability (Aijaz, Simsek, Dohler & Fettweis, 2017). Thus, it would help in recruitment in the technical sector, and also increase the possibilities of having a 24-hour flexible working schedule. It would also mean that customers would be able to get a better response rate and extended support, which would also
ing in new changes in policies as well (Thite, 2019).
1.2. Issues with the 5G
There have been some issues that have been identified with 5G technology. According to a paper by Outerelo, Alejos, Sanchez & Isasa, (2015), there are significant issues in the design of the microchip antennas that have gone into the 5G communications sets. This could have possible negative ramifications (Outerelo, Alejos, Sanchez & Isasa, 2015). There have also been concerns regarding the frequency that is often used in 5G technology. This type of technology has the ability to penetrate into the tissues, which can possible cause tissue and organ damage in the long-run (Thite, 2019). The research regarding the harmful effects of 5G have not finished, since the technology itself is extremely new. An increase in 5G technology also would mean an increase in cell phone towers, which have been linked to increase chances of caner when in close proximity. An increase in the number of synced devices would also mean an increase in the Electromagnetic Frequency (EMF) for an individual as well (Dai, Wang, Yuan, Han, Chih-Lin & Wang, 2015). Although there has been no significant research conducted on the impact of cell phones and EMF, there has been research that shows that a higher amount of EMF might be harmful to the human body (Rost, Mannweiler, Michalopoulos, Sartori, Sciancalepore, Sastry & Aziz, 2017). All of the above would mean that many HR managers would...
