Introduction
This report is based on the Aged Care Facility that is located in the rural township with a cumulative population of 8000 located in NSW. The central town is perhaps at a 50 km distance from the larger town. Presently the aged-care facility takes care of approximately 100 senior residents. These senior citizens in the Aged Care Facility are usually away from their friends and families. These facilities is staffed by certified and enrolled nurses along with healthcare assistants while kitchen, nursing, administrative and cleaning workers. As a director of facility that offers Nursing, there are many changes proposed to improve the operations in the facility
Proposal during the Unfreezing Stage
Majority of people resist changes especially at the very initial stages. Therefore, my goal during the unfreezing stage is create awareness about the status quo as well as present level acceptability that might be causing certain problems. The concerned team of accreditation realised that data-entries in each resident’s record were infrequent and contained minimal information.
