There are numerous emerging technologies that are being launched at a rapid scale. One such technology is Internet of Things (IoT). It refers to the connection of multiple gadgets, technologies, methods, and systems to achieve specific set of goals.
The technology is beneficial as it provides the business units with connected computing in cost-effective manner. An IoT application for connected health is being developed so that digital and tele-health services may be provided to the patients in different geographical locations. The technology will also be advantageous for the medical team members.

The technology will allow the inter-connection of the health care appliances, patient Smartphones and devices, data analytics tools, medical reports generator tools, online portal, computer systems and networking peripherals, and health diagnostics tools for enhancing the speed, accuracy, reliability, and quality of the health services.

The sponsor of the IoT-based health care application shall be a medical centre having a good market reputation and patient base.
