1. What is Cultural Safety?
According to Dr Leonie Cox, cultural safety is related a lot to history and racism mainly being associated to the healthcare related issues of the Aboriginal and To
es Strait Islander population in Australia, which have impacted them a lot and continues to undermine them. These population has significantly lesser health outcomes when related to their non-Indigenous countrymen which make them liable to experience a variety of health related issues at a much earlier age and substantially lower life expectancy than others (Temple and Russell, 2018). They belong to the lower socioeconomic group and as a result have much lesser admissions to colleges where they can get a proper education, hence they are prone to several health related issues like obesity, COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, lower life expectancy at birth, higher infant mortality rate, higher maternal mortality ratio, low birth weight and so on (A Global Snapshot of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples’ Health (ND) The children of the Aboriginal population affected by obesity make upto 81% of the total Aboriginal population affected by obesity in Australia, as supported by She
iff, et al. (2019). Cultural safety intends in targeting these particular population to educate them and make them aware of the healthcare related issues and making healthcare policies regarding the same like the Prevention and Management of Overweight and Obesity in Australia Policy Statement (2016), which will make a difference in providing sufficient healthcare to the Aboriginal population. It is based on many of the previous theories to provide equality in the term of healthcare to the Aboriginal population of Australia.

2. What is interpersonal power and how does this impact on health?
According to Dr Leonie Cox, interpersonal power is overpowering of an individual or a community by some person or other communities which if people read the history of Australia can be easily understood. According to- It's 50 years since Indigenous Australians first 'counted'. Why has so little changed? (2017), it was estimated that around 750000 of the original population of the Aboriginals lived in the island and after the British invasion on 26 January 1788, there was mass killing of...
