Please check attached doc. which is the description of the assignment and the pic. is the case.
I need 2-3 pages and APA format.

The students are expected to carefully read the assigned case study, then thoroughly and explicitly address each component of the corresponding case study questions, which are located on located on page 617 of the Wager, Lee, and Glaser text.

The responses should reflect higher level cognitive processing (analysis, synthesis, and evaluation), which is essential for someone being prepared to serve in an operational capacity within the healthcare and related industry.

There is no minimum number of references that need to be utilized to support the completion of this assignment; however, it is generally understood that any good case analysis will incorporate the appropriate quality and quantity of outside sources to support any suppositions and recommendations.

Concerns and Workarounds with a Clinical Documentation System Introduction Synopsis: Garrison Children's Hospital is part of Premier Health Care, an academic medical center. Premier has successfully implemented an electronic clinical documentation system in its adult hospital. The adult hospital "drives the decisions" for the children's hospital. Consequently, the same documentation system was implemented at Garrison. The nurses at Garrison are actively resistant to adopting the new system, complaining that it is wholly inadequate for their needs. As a result the nurses have created a system of workarounds leading to duplicate work. (Pages 615 through 617, Wager, Lee, and Glaser text) This case study will illustrate just how important it is to fully understand the data needs and workflow patterns of an organization and its’ functional areas before rolling out new technologies or information systems. Based on the facts presented within the case and outside sources, the students will be expected to formulate and provide adequate support for a logically presented corrective action.  Unit Learning Outcomes ULO #4. Evaluate the causes and types of data errors. (CLO 4, 5) ULO #5: Formulate strategies to improve the quantity and quality of healthcare data and information when presented with scenarios where this is deemed a legitimate concern. (CLO 4, 5, 7) Directions The students are expected to carefully read the assigned case study, then thoroughly and explicitly address each component of the corresponding case study questions, which are located on located on page 617 of the Wager, Lee, and Glaser text. CONCERNS AND WORKAROUNDS WITH A CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION
SYSTEM
Question 1
The major problem in this case is that the patient’s safety is at high risk because the
espective physicians are not receiving the patient’s information on time due to the use of
conventional mode of documentation. Nurses and the other staff are using the paper based
documentation system which is not much efficient and is time consuming. The other major
factors in this situation are that in order to reduce this delay, a new Clinical Documentation
System is adopted and the nurses and the staff are not flexible with this new automation of
documenting the information due to limited computer knowledge and less number of
available computers. The nurses are unable to work efficiently due to lack of training for the
new system and thus, using the old mode (paper based) system. Significant conflicts are also
generated among the nurse staff because the NICU and PICU systems are not similar and the
inadequate knowledge results lowering the efficiency (Greenes, 2014).
Question 2
Yes, this argument is co
ect because it is highlighted in the given case study that the
pediatric hospitals are different from the adult hospitals and thus, create significant problem
while implementing the electronic documentation system. The workflow of these hospitals is
different and in this regards some of the examples from the literature are as listed below
(Majzun, 2011).
ï‚· Lung diseases and heart issues
ï‚· Brain related issues
