The priorities of public health are the context of reducing the health inequality that has been persisting in the society. This can also be related in terms of addressing the mental health issues and the other issues that are related to the public health problems in contemporary society. Cultural ideas amongst the nurses are an important context of the public health issues in the modern scenario. 
Part II
The culture that has been focused in this particular study is the African American. It has been found that the African American culture is one of the oldest cultures of United States of America and has been significantly neglected for some decades in terms of their rights and other necessary aspects of the citizen in the United States of America. 
It has been effective from the research that the morbidity and the mortality rates of the African American population are extremely high and these is a significant factor that have influence the health seeking behaviours of this particular culture in the United States of America.
