As a leader, Helen needs to accept changes and drive innovative solution so that proper health care can be achieved. Her idea of implementation of technology like telesurgery and teleconsultation are some of the complex system, which she plans to align with the cu
ent treatment practice so that she can shape the system (AIMS, 2020).
As a leader, Helen needs to be self-aware and she should understand that her decision and action in the position of Public Health Officer would lay impact on the community. The way, she manages the challenges and performs,

As the case states that Helen works within a community where people assumes her to be young and she will not be able to meet her responsibilities as expected from her. In this scenario, it is important for Helen to engage people with her vision and goals so that each of the individuals can contribute in, grow and learn. She needs to show diverse values and ensure that her objective meets the cultural responsiveness.
Her goal of immunisation, infection control, proper housing for the diverse population and sanitation will need people from diverse filed to participate so that the objective can be met. Further, she needs to communicate the ideas and address the issue while working through conversation with the community and the experts to acquire solution. With this attitude, Helen can strengthen the consumers as well as colleagues by inspiring and enabling them with information and ideas.
It is also important that Helen collaborate with other professionals such as planners, policy makers and architects in providing health care to the community to meet the healthcare initiatives. Helen has plan of providing equitable health promotion for the community with the increase in the availability sustainable food resources and address health issues.
