Abstract
In spite of the fact that the platforms of social media have become popular rapidly, they remarkably have a huge impact on an individual personally including their behaviors, social relationships and mental health. There has been a link between use of social media platforms and depression. Over the last few years, the number of mental health problems reported by children as well as adults has skyrocketed. In this study, it has been observed that using platforms of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram by adolescent is growing along with the rate of symptoms of depression. Furthermore, one of the primary concerns among the people is that the rate of attempting suicides is increasing too due to cybe
ullying, especially among those between the age of 18-34. This article is a systematical review regarding the relationship between depression and use of social media platforms.

Introduction
The primary focus of this study is the research in the psychology field by examining the connection of depression using social media. As depression is one of the developing issue, research conducted on this a different connection between depression and use of social media, will be helpful to acquire a better knowledge of the key of such mental disorder. The professional of mental health will be prepared well by good understanding as well as more capable of handling situations that includes one having depression. The studies conducted before involves the connection between depression and use of social media but was very limited as this area is quite new. The research about the relationship between depression and the use of social media started to appear from the year 2013. Previously, the primary focus of the study was the total time spending on social media, bitterness about social media, using Facebook and their impact on depression. Because of the complications in depression, pinpointing an only one factor casually is quite tough as there has been abundance of variables related to social media that affects the level of depression on a person potentially. The main aim of this study is to understanding better about the connection of depression with the use of social media with the help of contribution of extra data that helps in identifying the factors that act as a contribution to depression. As a result, the use of social media among them, the potential factors involve conflicted views, envy, unsettling news, huge time spending on social media, cybe
ullying, recollecting experiences from past and negative posts, exclusion. It can also be said that the main focus of this study is determining that whether the social media envy is a factor or not contributing to transform the level of depression of an individual, additionally, to explore the chances of existing other factors.

Defining Depression
Depression is possibly a mood disorder that threatens life and has affected Americans approx. 17.6 million each year or one among six persons in the US. Around 90% of the individual who committed suicides are related to possessing mental disorder, that is found very commonly having depression or combining the various conditions that involves depression. According to the data, it has been suggested that around 59% to 87% of the population are the victims of suicide who gone through vital depression (Richards, Caldwell & Go, 2015). The calculated average of depression is generally from the age of 25-45; but, it is affecting the peoples of every age. Depression has an impact on life of an individual from every aspect and emotionally, physically as well as mentally impairs them. To specify, the symptoms are losing energy or fatigue, hypersomnia or insomnia, depressed mood, changing appetite significantly, losing or gaining weight, feelings of lethargy or restlessness, disinterest or decreased pleasure in physical activities, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, declining the capability o9f thinking, making decisions or ability to concentrate, and regular thoughts of committing suicide (Richards, Caldwell & Go, 2015). Due to this, it becomes tough for the many people who stressed with such illness for completing day-to-day works and maintaining relationships. The condition or chronic disease called combordity also occurs and has been observed very commonly in individuals suffering from depression (Patel et al., 2015). The occu
ence of combordity is frequent among substance abuse, anxiety and depression. But it is not restricted to only the factors mentioned above, it also occurs due to physical conditions as per the reports. It is observed from the research that the one suffering from depression have higher chances to develop coronary heart illness. In spite of the fact that it is very common disease, depression is highly dangerous and has the capability of affecting various components in an individual to become suicide victim. Depression when is not treated well or inadequacy in treatment can result in increasing distress as well as death too (Patel et al., 2015).
