An old truism is that change is a constant, and this is certainly applicable not only to the health care industry, but to most modern institutions. Every industry and every organization has experienced change at some level, whether impelled by an internal drive for change or in response to an external event. The effectiveness of an adaptive change depends in part on the effectiveness of the operational and communication systems within an organization.

The organization being referred to is a Health Care Agency. The Health Care Agency has about 3000 employees. The organization is a local enterprise.
The Event 
The Organization underwent a significant change in its management when one of the employees was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Though she had resumed her job post her medical leave, there was clear hostility among the other colleagues of the employee and he was being avoided.
