Only 750 Words!! *Book Name Followership by Tom Atchison*

Atchison does a good job in the text of describing why a person can only be declared a leader if they have followers.

Using the text and additional sources cited by Atchison, write a true story on a leader you know that has failed. First, tell the story in detail as you know it and what the failure was. It can span over months or even years. Then, explain in full detail why the titled executive failed referring back to possible reasons cited in the text. Finally, explain whether or not the titled executive learned anything from the experience or not. Last but not least, tell what happened to that person after the failure was over....Or if they simply continued to fail and the results of that. The person that failed can even be you. It’s your choice. Preferably, this needs to be in the healthcare setting.

elease scientific data to back up their claims. However, the company’s testing methods came
under the scanner revealing startling facts about the Company. Five serious deficiencies were
found which put the patient’s life and well-being in danger. The company was not even using
its own machines for conducting the tests placing serious doubts over the accuracy of results.
As executives and business partners began to flee the sinking ship, Theranos announced that
Holmes had been banned from owning or operating a medical laboratory for at least two
years and the California lab of the company had to be shut down.
Reasons of Failure:
The prime reason for the failure of Elizabeth Holmes and her start-up Theranos was
