The learning from the video crisis competence is that the best way to control a crisis is by communicating all decision-making information to the employees of the company. The employees are able to build a trust towards the company in which they work. There may be issues related to disclosure of private information but sharing of information which can be disclosed helps in sending a message to the employees and building a network which can be extremely productive. In the Gulf of Louisiana, it was British Petroleum whose oil rig blasted and sank the coast of Louisiana which stretched over 40 miles. Around 11 people lost their lives.
