Pressure vessel that you have provided me ... 
in my point of view it is good example of submerged arc welding ...and pressure 
vessel pictures shows that it is nitrogen storage tank 
in my point of view there is nothing wrong if it is welded by submerged arc welding 
because for heavy section pressure vessel we always prefer submerged arc welding.
