New Product: Need/Opportunity
To design and reinvent a domestic food blender to introduce smart features and reduce noise pollution that is produced by the cu
ent generation of food blenders. The cu
ent generation of food blenders has many vital issues that are needed to be solved for ergonomic and organic use in the kitchen. These fundamental issues include high price, high noise, and limitations concerning the temperature of food to be blended. These limitations can be solved by redesigning the blender. The improvement process for the design approach will serve as a roadmap and theoretical stage for commodity improvement that will involve
oad research, analysis, and visioning. The strategy will include studying the effect of the motor power and RPM used in the blender on the noise level, including the cutting blade shape, as these are the most crucial factor for an ergonomic and efficient food blender.

Literature Review

The literature review conducted on the household appliances industry presents different valuable insights into the factor explaining the customer intention toward buying energy-saving and silent appliances. This literature enables us to find notable gaps that can be addressed in developing future devices.
Technological advancements have given to new customer behavior, such as the requirement of devices to be connected with the smart house system and to be energy efficient. However, among these studies, a less-studied are the individual's readiness to use new technological oriented energy-efficient household appliances. So there is a need to understand resident's energy-saving behavior using surveys.

ings me to Prove
s 1:5 A wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel. This scripture allows me to understand that taken in new ideas and consider those around me wants and needs can make for a better product because I have better understanding. My faith allows me to think in depths when taking on any task because I never want to assume others desire but try to understand everyone to become a better version of myself.

Furthermore, when the strategy is developed, then the design will reinvigorate it by producing commodities in a better way delivering on the strategic promise. This reverse engineering project is introduced to create a commodity idea for a redesigned kitchen food blender. The redesigned blender is intended to provide the best blending experience with various blending modes for chunky, hot, and cold foods and vegetables taking economic and ergonomic constraints.

NEW PRODUCT DESIGN: USER NEEDS ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
In this assignment, you will develop a summary of user needs for your new product design. This
summary should clearly identify what the user needs or wants. The summary of user needs is
intended to capture the existing needs or wants from the perspective of the intended user (i.e.,
people group most likely to need/want/use this product). It serves as a precursor to developing a
clear and concise problem statement, and requirements.
