ABSTRACT
The stresses in nursing students is the main topic of discussion in the cu
ent article. There is very
specific focus on the causes of the stressed in these students. The assessment is based on analyzing the
causes of the stresses and the coping strategies, attitudes of the students(specific characteristics). The
techniques employed are quantitative studies based on statistical review, SPSS based co
elation as well
as statistical analysis of the information gathered in the article.

Introduction:
Nursing profession is a unique profession, requiring specific set of characteristics in the professionals.
Nurses both during the learning phase as well during the actual professional practice times need to face
day to day stress and strains. Continuously they will be exposed to pressure and tensions due to variety
of reasons. There are several investigation based research works performed in this aspect and available
in the literature. The cu
ent discussion is about the sources of the stresses in the nursing student and
the results and discussion of the study are based on the quantitative investigation. The details of the
articles used for the investigation purpose as well as the results and other elements collected for
discussion are presented in write-up.

Type of study and the phenomenon of interest:
The study is totally a secondary research and that too is concerned only with the quantitative analysis of
the information related with the stresses in the nursing students. The key phenomena of interest in the
discussion are about the identification of the main sources of stress in the nursing students and also the
study includes the study of the evolution of the stressors during the training for nursing competencies.
Whether Sample and the population is appropriate?
Yes the sampling and the population considered for analysis is quite appropriate for the research
objectives. As a whole about 200 literature review articles are selected for the analysis. Each and every
informative article is selected based on three criteria, firstly there should be one or more reliable tools
employed for the evaluation and the calculation of the stresses in the nurses, secondly the information
collected should be related only with the nursing students alone, the third criteria of interest is that the
paper should include quantitative information related with the sources of the stress, excluded those
articles which reported only the global measure of stress. Hence considering the quality and quantity of
the sample ad population considered, it can be said they are appropriate.

The results from different sources of the information are segregated to find the details of the sources of
