Point to be noted here is there will be the phase change of π on external reflection and there will be no
phase change of internal reflection.
If we look at both waves 1 and 2 we can see that there is no external reflection in light beams only
internal reflection is present in both the beams Hence Net Phase difference in both the waves will be
