Individuals Chart: Process Behavior-- Number of IPO’s from 1975 to 2008
Process is out of control in 1996. And after this point process is again in control. And slowly
ecame redundant as technique behind it became old. This chart checks for variation in change
of average number of IPOs over time. From 1999 onwards we have five successive points which
falls on lower side of central line this indicates that process mean has been changed. This chart
shows if sample mean is in control or not.
