The major difference between Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP is the Medicare is considered as a federal program that initially tend to provide the healthcare facilities to the people who are 65 plus and under 65 the people having disabilities are provided with these facilities, irrespective of their earnings and income. While Medicaid is considered as a state and federal program that provides the healthcare facility to the specified group having relatively very low income and the CHIP is a program that was constituted mainly to provide the healthcare coverage to the children who came from relatively low income family background and are not eligible for the Medicaid facility (Brooks, Park & Roygardner, 2019).
