Strengths – Well known physicians, strong financial backing, Knowledgeable and Reliable support staff
Weaknesses – Location, Technology
Opportunities – Marketing, Technology
Threats – Competition, Costs continuing to rise
There are a few things the company should focus on to improve their position in the market. Due to the number of new competitors in the local market, the company should utilize their strength of having well known physicians on staff in marketing the services of the company to bring in new business. Since the location is downtown where there is a lack of parking, the company can utilize new technology to support telehealth visits for patients who would have difficulty coming onsite. The company should also invest in an EHR, such as Epic, to improve physician, staff, and patient communication. The company should also invest in a CRM that will connect all of the different applications they are currently using for back-office operations to help make the staff more efficient. Since the company has strong financial backing, they should invest on leading edge technology for procedures that can also be used in the marketing of their services.
The SWOT analysis is part of a strategic assessment as the SWOT analyzes the internal strengths and weaknesses of a company and the external opportunities and threats in front of the company. A SWOT analyzes all parts of a company and long with strategic goals, can help a company align with their mission and vision.

Doing a SWOT analysis is a great way to do frame work for a organization. For cardiology we have several things that we need to consider for highs and lows. By doing a SWOT analysis it will give us the right idea of what is working well and what we could potentially work on and so some of our potential opportunities that we could grow from.
Strengths- Knowledgeable staff, Time managment, Strong funding, Valuable Resources
Weaknesses- Outdated healthcare Facility, Poor Location, Confusing policy's
Opportunities - few competitors, Media coverage for facility, A need for services
Threats - Changing environment around facility, Negative reviews and Quality
After thinking about all four spectrums we have some things that we could defiantly improve over time. We can start by maximizing your strengths and then boost the weaker areas. Starting with some updating some things around the facility to make things look fresh. Then with the high need for our services we could have it advertised with a new face to the cardiology department. With knowledgeable staff and friendly faces in a updated facility we could potentially bring in new clients with a high demand for service. We need to have weekly quality checks to make sure we have good supplies and products.
