Systems, a national telecommunications company headquartered in San Jose, California. He recs
proposed a new system of paid holidays to the Board of Directors so that all of the employees in
company’s diverse workforce will be able to request paid time off to cele
ate their own religiou:
cultural holidays. The Board of Directors approved his plan, and now I
ahim needs to present
details of the plans to department managers via a webinar. He asks you to help him finish the pi

. Add Worldwide Phone Systems as the footer text. Display the footer text, the slide number, and
the cu
ent date (using the Fixed option) on all of the slides including the title slide.
_ On Slide 1, draw a rectangle that is 11.7 inches wide and 0.2 inches high. Position the rectangle
so it is on top of the date, footer, and slide number at the bottom of the slide. Remove the shape
outline, and fill the rectangle with White, Background 1. (Note: You are doing this because you
are going to duplicate this slide and apply the Morph transition to the new Slide 2, and this pre-
vents the footer information from appearing on the new Slide 2.)
. On Slide 1, insert the picture Support_PPT_2_Calendar.jpg, located in the PowerPoint2 > Casel
folder. Resize the picture so it is 4.3 inches high. Rotate the picture left by 90 degrees. Position
the rotated picture to the left of the slide so that the top of the picture aligns with the top of the
slide and so that there is about one-quarter of an inch between the picture and the slide.
. Duplicate Slide 1. On the new Slide 2, delete your name, and then apply the Title 2 layout.
. On Slide 2, rotate the picture of the calendar right by 90 degrees so that it is right-side-up. Apply
the picture style Thick Matte, Black to the calendar picture, and then change the border color to
the Red, Accent 2, Darker 25% color.
. Position the picture in the upper-left corner of the slide so that the outside of the red border on
the top and left side of the picture align with the top and left borders of the white part of the
slide.
On the picture of the calendar, drag the rotate handle to the left until the top-left corner of the
picture border is just touching the outside of the blue border around the slide. Note that when
you release the mouse button, the picture will slightly increase in size so that the top-left corne
of the picture will overlap the slide border.
Confirm that the picture of the calendar is rotated to 345°. If it is not, change the rotation so that it is.
Apply the Morph transition to Slide 2. Change the duration of this transition to one second.
On Slide 3, animate the bulleted list using the entrance Float In animation with the Float Down
effect, and change the duration to 0.50 seconds. Animate the bulleted lists on Slides 5 and 6
using the same animation. On Slide 5, make sure you animate the list on the left first, and then
animate the list on the right. Then on Slide 5, change the effect for both lists to All at Once.
On Slide 4 (“Five Fixed Holidays"), create a table with three columns and five rows. In the first
ow, type Name in the first cell, Description in the second cell, and Date in the third cell.
In the table, in the “Name” column, starting in the second row, type the following entries: New.
Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day. Then in the “Date” column, type
the following entries: January 1, Last Monday in May, First Monday in September, and 4th
Thursday in November.
16. In the table, insert a new row between the Memorial Day row and the Labor Day roy
ow in the “Name” column, type Independence Day, and in the “Date” column, typ
17. In the table, delete the second column (with the label “Description” in the first row). 1
