In this assignment I will present a description of the process I utilised in undertaking a literature search in relation to the treatment and care of Afro Cari
ean service users in the mental health service in the United Kingdom using the CINAHL database. This will include a description of the results from the search, an overview of the evidence found, and its relevance to my chosen topic.
The results of the search with be recorded and and a copy of the search will be included in the appendix as evidence of having undertaken a search of the literature.

Students choose a topic of relevance to Mental Health Nursing as indicated below and conduct a literature search, recording the results and referencing accurately. The assignment will include an introduction to the topic, a description of how they conducted the literature search and the results that they found and an overview of evidence accessed that is relevant to their chosen topic.
Proposed topics
A) How does cultural beliefs influence Mental Health Treatment Preferences of Ethnically Diverse Populations?
B) How can nurses address the physical health needs of people with mental health problems?
The assignment will include an introduction to the topic, a description of how you conducted the literature search and the results that you found and an overview of the evidence accessed that is relevant
1) Students must choose one of the topics provided and conduct a literature search using an appropriate database.
2) You must record the results and reference accurately using the Harvard system.
3) You must record your search in a tabular form using the table provided.
4) You are also required to save the search in the appendix as evidence of having undertaken a search of the literature.
5) All work must be word processed using font size 12 with double spacing. (No requirement to write in 1st or third person
6) Referencing must be done using the Harvard system
