Written Research Proposal; Literature Review of Research on Selected Topic and Individual presentation by PowerPoint.
There are three parts for this assessment:
Part A Research Proposal
Part B Literature review; Critical analysis of research articles
Part C Research study (Written and presented in a folder as an assignment and a ve
al presentation using a POWER-POINT (or similar electronic visual presentation media)

PART B (1000 words)
Critical analysis and Literature review
Select the most relevant 5 cu
ent research journal articles from your literature search that identifies the selected contemporary health issue.
In your critical analysis of the article you will need to address the following:
· Does the abstract fulfil its purpose?
· Outline the purpose of the research.
· Identify the research methodology.
· Identify who conducted the research?
· Discuss the findings of the research.
· Discuss if the data presented support analysis of the results?
· Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the journal articles.
PART C (1000 words)
Research Study Presentation and Portfolio of Evidence
Research
Prepare for a ve
al presentation of your research findings (qualitative, quantitative, or evidence based using literature review) on the chosen health condition / situation.
· Present the data and results of your research in a paper (using appropriate format).
· Attach any relevant articles, surveys or questionnaires used during your research
· Discuss the relevant aspects of the research.
Remember to reference both in-text and in bibliography format at the completion of all of Parts A, B and C using the TAFE referencing guidelines.
Presentation
Learners are to present their research findings to the class using PowerPoint.
The presentation must include: Identification of the contemporary health issue and outline of the research including:
· purpose statement
· methodology
· methods of data collection
· schedule of events and funding
· details of approvals required
· client issues
· identification of possible ba
iers to undertaking this research
· presentation of research data and results
· identification of ethico-legal and client guidelines relevant to your research.
