ived, which clearly states that U.S. food manufacturers must alert their consumers with the presence of genetically modified ingredients through labels, text messages, and QR codes. Now the term bioengineering food is mentioned in the GMO foods as the new labels. This is mainly done concerning help the consumers be fully informed and avoid any kind of confusion while purchasing GMO foods (Elder et al., 2018). Keeping the consumers informed is essential.
