Instructions: Complete a Sequence diagram for the following requirements. The diagram is to include classifiers, data passed between classifiers, any advanced features (e.g. loop, if then-else). Messages between classifiers are to show a guard conditions, etc. A narrative should be included in the completed diagram. This is a “sunny day” scenario.
The process starts when the DVD Store /online sales unit receives information that the shopping cart with a completed order of DVDs from a customer is ready for final processing. To complete the order, the DVD Store/online sales unit needs to charge the credit card of the customer and deliver the DVDs. To charge the credit card, the DVD Store /online sales unit will send the credit card information of the customer to the DVD Store / accounting unit, who will then validate and send the customer’s card information to the credit card company for processing. To deliver the DVDs, the DVD Store / online sales unit will contact the shipping company who will fill the order. Based on the delivery option that was selected by the customer, the DVDs are either delivered by the shipping company at a normal rate of speed or are delivered priority overnight mail. Once the DVDs are delivered and the credit card is charged, the DVD Store/ online sales unit can close the order and inform all parties including the customer.
