Instructions

Assignments are to be done individually. Assignments are to be submitted AND RECEIVED no later than 11pm on the 26th of May. Late assignments will be penalized by 10% per day late. If it takes longer to upload than you expected and only gets on the system at 11.01pm, you will lose 10%. If you thought you submitted it, but it is not registered on MyUni/Canvas, you will not get marked.

This assessment is worth 25% of your entire mark.

You are to write a feasibility report for the proposal you provided in Assignment 3 – project proposal.

The body of the report is to be only 2 pages long. Ensure you sort out your formatting beforehand. Make sure you check what you have submitted and that any changes in formatting by MyUni do not change your page limit.

Background

Your project proposal has been assessed and now needs a follow-up feasibility assessment.

Your Task

Your task is to write a report on the feasibility of your previous proposal for the specific organisation you visited [you can NOT change projects from what you provided in Assignment 3. If you proposed multiple projects pick ONLY ONE for the feasibility report].

Things you need to consider:

How the project would be implemented (an implementation plan, including time frames and potential costs)

Risks assessment of the project management (risks associated with the implementation)

Risks assessment of the proposed idea (risks your proposed plan has after it is implemented, ie in operation)

Discuss the feasibility of the project

Discussion on the impact in terms of the environment, society, and the economy.

You also need to include an appendix detailing the tools you used to develop your solutions. This section is non-typical for a feasibility report. It can be reflective (ie in first person, what you did, how and why). I’m adding this here, because I don’t think students will have done it correctly for Assignment 3 and I really don’t want the majority of the course to fail the year!

Report information

The structure is flexible. However, based on the rubric, I would suggest the following:

Executive Summary

Introduction (briefly introducing the opportunity and solution you presented in the project proposal report, and structure/purpose of the feasibility report).

Implementation Plan (literally a plan about how you would implement your idea. You could put the list in an appendix and just discuss major points)

Risk Assessments (I would expect to see a table for the project risk assessment and another table for the operations project risk. These should be in appendices. In the body of the report, you should discuss the impact of the risk assessments. Remember that risk assessments are tools used to help make decisions.)

Discussion (this is the big one for the body of the report. Discuss the feasibility of the project. Should it go ahead? You are not trying to sell an idea. You are providing facts for your proposed project.)

Executive Summary
SA museum (known as South Australia museum facing issue related to energy crisis and
government doing lot of to solve this problem. Despite of government people can replace
conventional lighting method with Non-Conventional lighting method. Recent days LED can
eplace the tube light and bulb (up to 75 watt) efficiently and these LED consume far less
electricity as compared to these conventional lighting methods. We also PURPOSING YOU to
eplace conventional lighting ways to non-conventional lighting ways (LED) and motion sensor
to provide the energy. Since the Energy Department started funding solid-state lighting R&D in
2000, these projects have received 58 patents. Some of the most successful projects include
developing new ways to use materials, extract more light, and solve the underlying technical
challenges. Most recently, the Energy Department announced five new projects that will focus
on cutting costs by improving manufacturing equipment and processes. The Energy Department
of government giving funding of such type of project to start at prototype model is not a
problem.
Introduction
The widespread replacement of conventional bulbs in street lighting by energy-saving light-
emitting diodes (LEDs) has considerable influence on bats as u
an nocturnal hunters.
Opportunistic bats lose hunting opportunities whereas light sensitive species benefit. This was
shown in a recent study by Christian Voigt and Daniel Lewanzik from the Leibniz Institute for
Zoo and Wildlife Research (IZW) [1-3]. Long life time stands out as the number one benefit of
LED lights. LED bulbs and diodes have an outstanding operational life time expectation of
sometimes up to 100.000 hours. This is 11 years of continuous operation, or 22 years of 50%
operation [5-6]. If you leave on the LED fixture for 8h per day it would take around 20 years
efore you’d have to replace the LED bulb. LED’s are different to standard lighting: They don’t
eally burn out and stop working like a standard light, moreover the lighting diodes emit lower
output levels over a very long period of time and become less
ight [7].
So for small scale label we are putting our porotype model in SA museum (known as South
Australia museum ) in which we are replacing conventional lighting method with the none
conventional lighting method like LED and motion sensor energy charger.
