Telemedicine Journal is a growing venture in the Australian context. The application of the informatics and network solutions based on information technology is thoroughly extensive in terms of improving the healthcare segment (Armfield et al, 2018). For example, the application of social media platforms can be of great help to reach out to public communities. When Twitter handle of telemedicine was observed, the focus of the handle was over education about the alleviation of the healthcare norms in the Australian context (Lauran et al, 2017). The approach of the handle was to ensure that the public viewing is directed towards the new rules and guidelines which are necessary to implement in the day to day activities. While following Telemedicine Twitter handle I observed that they focused on the value of remote patient monitoring before and during the times of Covid-19. They conducted a webinar on remote patient monitoring and generated awareness among followers. Due to Covid-19 out
eak telemedicine has gained more usage which has created a positive impact as clinicians have adopted it as a new normal. Many patients and clinicians nowadays prefer virtual consultation for those ailments that can be looked over digital medium like video conferencing and emails etc. Services like telepharmacy are anticipated to have a pivotal role in augmenting access of service seekers to pharmaceutical care and reducing dispensing delusion in community pharmacies. Remote patient monitoring is an essential tool for providing facilitation to patients with confirmed or symptomatic conditions of corona-virus. Considering similar pattern in symptom presentation between Polymerase Chain reaction test results, access to COVID-related clinical care should not be based on Polymerase chain reaction test statuses. Remote patient monitoring has promising guidelines in proper management of suspected COVID-19 patients. Additionally, remote patient monitoring gives rise to avenues for continuous clinical data ingestion from which future predictive patterns can be created. Webinar conducted by telemedicine journal was interactive and informative. Knowledge shared during the webinar was backed by data, graphical figures and examples. Traditionally, telemedicine services have been accepted to provide access to care in rural areas within North America, ANZ and to some care seekers in the Eastern Europe. The purposes of these experiences were to ensure sufficient health care services to patients, which helps in saving time & resources and improve satisfaction levels in patients. In western Africa, a telemedicine set up was established to improve the pharmacists' role in pediatric oncology and improve medication safety by educating patients about pulmonary diseases, specifically asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The productivity of telepharmacy services was considered by examining the rate of dispensing e
ors and by documenting number and nature of pharmacist interventions, or by demonstrating the saving of time and staff for more quality-enhancing initiatives. Https:
