Dear friend,
Just over a week ago, the refounding conference of the National
Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (the Alliance) began
the process of rebuilding our Alliance as a national, mass defense
organization. We began this refounding conference with a mass rally
of over 1,200 people. These people came from all the various
strands of the peoples movement, mostly young activists, mostly
Black and Brown, LGBTQ, and white working class; also veteran
freedom fighters and class conscious workers, all actively engaged
in struggle. People came from 28 states and over a hundred cities
eady to fight back against the government’s racist and repressive
policies, and ready to win.
We had unanimous support to move ahead - refounding the Alliance,
electing Frank Chapman as interim executive director, and agreeing
to form a continuations committee to do the hands on work to build
the infrastructure and organization to move us forward. See final
esolution here - https:

We intend to hold first meeting of the continuations committee later
this month. Our first order of business will be summing up last
weekend and what we accomplished. We’ll also have an initial
discussion of our next steps.
If you want to join the continuations committee and be on that call
email Frank at XXXXXXXXXX. If you would like to send your
