 1. It has been found that a valuable contract was obtained by Spectro through implementing 
unethical means in the process of bidding.  
B. Thesis Statement: Business organizations have both social responsibilities and responsibilities to 
stakeholders (including the shareholders), and if CSR performance should be emphasized, and ethical 
practices in businesses should be considered; the need of resorting to the profit-maximization policy 
is also mandatory. But in order to sustain long-term market reputation it is very much essential 
for a company like Spectro to maximize on profit through application of ethical means like 
following ethical principles in the course of bidding.
