A community health network (CHIN) is a web dependent network for the computer system, which helps in the exchange of financial, clinical, and administrative information among all the healthcare associated industries electronically. As noted by DeVoe and Sears (2013), this system is helpful in advancing the efficiency of the system. It also improves delivery of the services provided by the healthcare industry in the community. This system is dependent on the product, service and technology, and work in combination to improve quality.
This system works efficiently in disease management. In disease management, alignment of patient, payer, and provider is done so that the care provided to the patient is of high quality. This allows the reduction of the cost of the treatment given to the patient. The disease management programs are implemented using this system, as it links all the disease management programs. It provides many benefits such as sharing of data, internal communication, external communication, value added applications, marketing, and bonding presence. This system positively influences the healthcare system in improving the quality in healthcare.
2. Regional Health Information Organization (RHINO)
    A regional health information organization can be defined as group of organization in a specific area that provides healthcare associated information electronically under the specific standard.
