	Domestic violence is one of the biggest problems persisting all over the world. This social issue is common in all parts of the world and the suffering group is mainly women as well as their children. Children are considered as part of domestic violence because they vulnerable and cannot fight against their odds (Government of Western Australia, 2019). In Australia, it has been seen that domestic violence can occur due to many reasons. As suggested by Ellsberg et al. (2015), women, who are dependent on husbands, in other words, stay at home women, mostly suffer from violence, as they are unable to take the stand due to lack of education or job, which can otherwise provide them financial security. As mentioned by Priest, Truong and Biddle (2017), it has been observed that most of the cases of domestic violence are either unregistered or go into silence due to out of court settlement.
