Q2. What is the primary diagnosis? What signs and symptoms point to the diagnosis?
The primary diagnosis has been conducted to be identifying that Greg could be suffering from any one of the four probable diseases— Ischaemic Heart disease, Angina Pectoris, Myocardial infarction or Myocarditis.
When Greg was presented for diagnosis, it was identified by his assessment that he already had a blood pressure of 160/90 mmHg, which is higher than the normal blood pressure of 120/80 mmHg. Besides, he was already suffering from hypertension. Therefore, as opined by (), due to insufficient flow of blood through the arteries, high blood pressure could be an indication of Angina Pectoris.
The heavy, incessant smoking habit of Greg for the past 20 years can be attributed to the increment of blood pressure in him, which according to Galie et al.
