1. How can researchers check on the reliability of their survey? Why is this important?
Researchers checks on the reliability based on three tested methods that check for the consistency of the survey. These include
· Over time (test-retest reliability): Researchers check whether a consistency of the answers have been maintained overtime. 
· Across items (internal consistency): The answers are also checked for internal consistencies whether they are similar or have a certain amount of correlation between them. If not the answers are rechecked 
· Across different researchers (inter-rater reliability):
