Energy conservation is important in today’s scenario and this can be done by applying energy conservation
measures in every field and domain where energy is used in any form such as fuel, electricity etc. In most of the
countries of the world energy is produces at large by utilizing the Non – renewable energy sources which in turn
also produces harmful gases which are responsible for the Global rise in Temperature around the world along with
that production of energy through Non – renewable sources also poses a threat of Upcoming Energy Crisis in
Future. Hence in general we need to take some measures so that we can save some portion of that Energy. Around
the world scientists and R&D institutions are working to devise the measures and instruments to protect it by
developing more efficient technologies.
The most important thing is that when we conserve Energy our nationals can enjoy cleaner air and a healthier
environment. As per the resources available for conserving Energy I have identified some of the area where the
uildings energy load can be reduce. They are as follows;
 Use of Automation systems to control lighting, air-conditioning, heating etc can reduce the energy load of a
uilding significantly whether the building in owned or rented which also results in an attractive return on
investment of automation production due to significant reduction In electricity bills.
 Use of energy efficient equipments in a building such as CFL’s in place of Sodium lamps , Five star machines
TV, AC’s , Washing Machines etc can reduce the energy demand by a particular house or a particular
uildings, Because energy efficient equipment uses less power to give the same output and less amount of
energy is lost in other forms.
 Insulation of buildings and windows can also help in conservation of energy by protecting the building
from the heat transfer to the su
oundings or vice-versa.

Owners of commercial and residential buildings face increasing energy cost which affects their budget.
Along with that cost of building products are also increasing because the manufacturers pass their energy bill to
the customers in form of costly products. Hence for the building owners and the householders should think on
conserving energy so that they can easily manage their budget and finances by installing some creative and energy
efficient products which can save energy and their money.
