THE AIM IS TO COMPARE AND CONTRAST HEALTH SYSTEMS AND, IN DOING SO, TO IDENTIFY HOW DIFFERENT FACTORS INFLUENCE THE DESIGN AND FUNCTIONING OF DIFFERENT SYSTEMS
•YOU SHOULD SELECT THREE CONTRASTING SYSTEMS. FOR EACH SYSTEM YOU SHOULD THEN:
•BRIEFLY DESCRIBE THE SYSTEM; ITS GOVERNANCE, STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION (10 MARKS)
•CRITICALLY ANALYSE AND EXPLAIN WHY THEY ARE DIFFERENT (15 MARKS)
•USE A FRAMEWORK SUCH AS EFFICIENCY, EFFECTIVENESS AND EQUITY TO EVALUATE HOW EACH OF THE
