ief summary of the research, sample used and findings and example. No need for COPD)
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in the medical world has been considered as one of the dangerous as well as life threatening disease. This article aims to provide a clear insight upon the effects of chronic disease such as COPD upon the patients. Further, major focus will be towards the role of nurses in order to provide support and motivation to the patients. A qualitative study was performed by the authors in order to present some of the differences that mental and emotional support can make in cases with chronic diseases.

Data was used from Central and South Manchester Primary Care Trusts and Liaison Health Workers (LHWs).
Ethical considerations – Ethical considerations were cleared from Liaison Health Hospital with respect to the use of patient’s data.
Data collection and analysis - Practice staff members as well patients both were interviewed for an average time of 47 minutes and 30 minutes respectively. Out of all selected patients only 29 completed the interview and therefore the sample size was not huge. This could be considered as one of the major strengths of this study because they collected the data from the individuals at the receiving end of intervention along with staff members and practitioner as participant (Bengtsson, 2016).
Finding and discussion - This study only inculcated 2 practitioners and therefore, the results cannot be implied to a scenario with numerous trained practitioners. Moreover,...
