1. In the first Ted talks show Helen Fisher has beautifully described the reasons behind our
immense cravings for love. In order to identify the effects, she has taken MRI's of 35
people who are in love. She has also stated that the feeling of love and its cravings is not
a new instinct rather a very primitive one by taking examples from the Maya period. She
also explained the effects of being in love and ended her speech by concluding that love
is embedded in our brains.
