Purpose: The purpose of this assignment task is for MBA students to identify where creative and critical skills are utilised within their workplace and the myriad ways in which business staff engage with creative practices to solve real problems.

The following should be provided for each learning task:

The purpose of this task is to focus you on your particular workplace and in particular the ways that people use
or don’t use critical and or creative thinking skills in their work. You have been asked to observe where critical
and creative skills are utilised in the workplace, then to reflect on the situation, the people and the processes
and outcomes and then to offer a critical analysis of the situation(s). This task should take place over the course
of the semester and is not due until the end of the semester. It is expected that there would be at least ten but

Creating thinking is much looked into skill in today’s world. The companies are hiring employees who can provide creative solutions to various problems. Often, creative thinking and critical thinking can provide new paths to solving issues in various cases. Critical thinking gives the ability which could assist in making wise decisions by analyzing the different factors that affect a situation. This is a skill in good demand in the workplace where various problems might arise. This reflective report covers various examples of situations that require creative and critical thinking to provide solutions. It is important to reflect each situation with a deep analysis of the elements considering the circumstance.
Example 1
One potential use of creative thinking comes in risk management. This example is set up with a construction company. When the company takes up a new project, it has to involve in risk management. There is a need for looking at the possible challenges of the building site and in the safety of the employees.
Here, the project management team had to look into the risk factors that could come into play in this situation. They have to foresee problems that could be caused in the situation. This involves creating scenarios that might happen (Turan, Fidan, & Yıldıran, 2019). Once the employees create possible circumstances, they move on to think about the possible solutions that could be offered in each situation.
The critical thinking of the employees was necessary for this situation. The processing of future scenarios gives birth to possible problems that could help serve to solve the problem. This has helped the construction company to a hive success through the project.
Example 2
The HR department requires great skills in critical thinking to give the appropriate employee for the company. Here, the situation is that there are a large number of potential people who have applied for the job. In this case, the HR department has quite a difficulty in choosing the one that is best suited for the company.
Creative thinking would be best in choosing the employees. In this situation, the HR manager
