It was the year 1944, when the US government took the decision of passing the “Serviceman’s Readjustment Act” which is also known as the GI bill of rights. With this the government w paying a heavy portion of the tuition fee and also the other education fees for the veterans. This was a very good deed for the war veterans and hence many people took advantage of the bill between the years 1940 and 1960.
