I am currently enrolled with the Master of Public Health (MPH) Programme at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and campus is in Melbourne, Australia. I am presently writing this reflective task for my knowledge gained from the module of Epidemiology (PUBH 621). So far, I have had a very good experience in this course by taking up the classes as well as practically. I have enjoyed every bit of the programme, because I have gotten the opportunity to learn many new things, which I did not know about before. 
I think the MPH programme is an ideal and complete programme in itself, because it not only covers a vast area of public health, but also caters the need of practical knowledge that one would require if they aspire to become a healthcare practitioner in future. My unit of epidemiology has particularly served me the purpose of knowing the actual mechanism, following which diseases spread in the public and consequently, the ways, in which it becomes a public health issue, merely from a single person. Hence, as mentioned by Slimings et al. (2014), such kind of knowledge always helps a healthcare professional to find the root cause of the disease, before planning ways to care for the service user and device strategies to mitigate it. 
Before, I had also worked in a hospital as a nurse, in order to gain some practical experience. However, while I was pursuing this course of Epidemiology under my MPH Programme,
